Built in 1899, this Dutch-style stone windmill has witnessed wars and conflicts but managed to always stand tall. Since the 1970s it’s a popular restaurant and café, the oldest functioning catering establishment in Kuressaare. Nowadays, it also houses an artisanal spirit production, where local berries flavour all the drinks. A historic site, a monument of resilience and local gastronomy.
